| Article 119-Protected life ecosystems | ||
| 119.1 | Protected life ecosystems | |
| A protected ecosystem is an ecosystem that is protected by law from exploitation or damage. | ||
| Where an ecosystem is listed as protected, it shall not be permitted to disturb or exploit the area for whatever reason. | ||
| An offence against this article shall be considered a serious civil offence. | ||
| The deliberate destruction of part of a protected life ecosystem shall however be considered a serious criminal offence against the property of the state and liable to both heavy fine and imprisonment. | ||
| A company that is guilty of such criminal action may further be liable for liquidation and the confiscation of all the assets of its directors. | ||
